This carbide tipped spoilboard cutter is designed for surfacing and rabbeting. It's great for planing large surfaces and can remove fine layers of material with ease. It is ideal for resurfacing spoilboards and planing large glued up panels using CNC, surfacing and finishing wood using timber slab machines, and rabbeting / slotting.
This cutter is designed for use with the following materials:
MDF
Fiberboard
HDF/LDF
Balsa Core
Plastic/Acrylic*
Chipboard
Hardwood/Softwood
* Use lower CNC spindle RPM and adjusted feed-rate to prevent melting and adhesion of the acrylic material to the tool.
Suitable for use with CNC Routers, handheld routers and router tables. Also suitable for router sled machines. Warning: make sure that your router sled rails are fully stable and squared.
