These spiral-flute bits combine a shearing action for a clean, accurate cut with an augering action for chip clearance. The "down-cut" does as it says and cuts downwards from the surface, providing a clean edge on the material surface. These router bits are manufactured in solid carbide for long tool life, even when used in abrasive material. The polished flutes and razor sharp cutting edges produce superior results.
