Axcaliber Set 4 Bevel & Ovolo-Roundover Router Cutters 1/4"

This package deal includes 4 x 1/4" shank bearing guided cutters. The bearing allows the cutter to run smoothly along both straight and curved edges. These are our most popular Axcaliber edge moulding cutters, all with diamond ground micrograin tungsten carbide tips. There is one 45° chamfer cutter along with 3 ovolo/roundover cutters.

The 45° chamfer or bevel cutter is useful for simply removing an arris, or preventing chipping on the corners of veneered and laminated boards. Slightly deeper cuts, particularly in soft and some hard woods, will help prevent splinters. More pronounced chamfers visually lighten a piece of furniture. Diameter: 30mm, depth of cut: 11mm.

The ovolo-roundover cutters are among our most popular moulding cutters. These versatile dual-purpose cutters are supplied with 2 bearings for both ovolo and roundover use. Radii: 3.2mm, 4.8mm and 6.35mm.

Completing the package is an A5 foam router cutter presenter. The firm foam grips the shank of the cutter, preventing their edges coming into contact. The presenter can be used complete or can be cut to fit in a cabinet or drawer. The size is 305 x 150 x 35mm and there are 30 x 1/2" and 20 x 1/4" storage holes.
