This quick change tool post set for the Axminster Engineer Series SC4 lathe, replaces the standard tool post supplied with the machine. It eliminates troublesome and time consuming shimming to adjust the tool’s cutting height. A set screw controls the height of the cutting tip. A quick change tool post provides a means of changing lathe tools quickly without the need to reset the tool’s height. The set comprises the mounting block, which replaces the normal tool post on the lathe, plus three holders. One each: Standard tool holder for 10mm square section, Parting tool holder for 1/2" x 1/8" tools and a Boring bar holder for 3/8" or 1/2" round shank tools.
