The Axminster AP254PS16 Panel Saw offers outstanding cutting quality, capacity and flexibility in everyday use A robust chassis in heavy gauge steel and a generous grey cast iron table provide stability and vibration free running.

The 254mm main blade gives a maximum depth of cut of 80mm. The saw blade is carried on a heavy duty spindle ensuring accurate blade control and is driven by a multi V type belt for quiet operation with high reliability. An 80mm scoring blade is standard and is easily adjusted or withdrawn below the table by simple controls. The high efficiency main blade motor has a brake for safe stopping.

The 1,600mm sliding table runs very smoothly, carries a sizable crosscut table and includes a 2,000mm long, telescopic mitre fence complete with twin length stops. The crosscut table can be easily removed, saving space when not needed. Rear outfeed and right hand support tables are included for sheet work. The rigid rip fence has a sliding rail with high/low functions for all types of work. Cam locked to its rail, it is easy to adjust. The handwheel controls are smooth to operate and have retracting handles to save them being knocked. Dust extraction is provided with a 63mm hose on the crown guard leading to a combined 100mm dust outlet for efficient dust control when connected to a suitable extractor.
