Independently mounted table & trunnion assembly
The trunnion assembly is mounted independently on the saw's frame, relieving stress on the table and ensuring that the table remains flat and true over time.

Achieve close to the blade work as well as heavy duty ripping with the dual height rip fence, with a solid "T" style design for accuracy.
Twin extension table configuration
Set up the twin extension tables on either side of the saw for a traditional cabinet making style, or mount both tables on the right-hand side to handle large pieces.

The Axminster Professional AP254SB Saw Bench is built for daily use in a busy workshop. It has been carefully designed to include many useful features. It offers an impressive 80mm depth of cut and with the supplied twin extension tables, you can enjoy up to a generous 1,200mm width of cut to the fence. The motor, castings and trunnions are all mounted on the saw’s chassis. This is a much better and stronger option as it doesn't place any stress on the underside of the table.
The AP254SB’s chassis is heavy gauge steel, supporting the smooth cast iron table. A quality mitre fence runs in T-slot grooves provided on both sides of the blade. The full length fence is a rigid T-style which locks at the front, adjustment is smooth and easy. The rip fence comes with a Hi/Lo aluminium auxiliary fence.
The 2.5kW 1ph quiet and powerful induction motor gives you all the oomph required. Blade adjustment for height and tilt are controlled separately on individual handwheels.
A steel rear take-off is supplied, as well as an Axcaliber TCT general purpose blade. Two point dust extraction is via a 63mm connection on the blade guard hose combined with a 100mm outlet at the rear of the machine. Connection to a suitable extractor is recommended. The saw comes with two twin extension tables which can be set up on either side of the saw for a traditional style or both on the right-hand for a very general extension, and rear extension table.
Optional accessories include Sliding Crosscut Table, Overhead Crown Guard and Dado Blade Set for grooving.
N.B. This machine requires a 16amp supply and it's recommended that a C Type breaker is used, if you are unsure please contact a qualified electrician.
