This Axminster Workshop 200mm Wide Stone bench grinder answers both your grinding and sharpening needs. It features a 25mm wide, 60 grit aluminium oxide wheel on the left-hand side and a 40mm wide 80 grit aluminium oxide white wheel, on the right.
The 40mm stone is wide enough to accommodate turning tools and the majority of woodworking edge tools. White aluminium oxide has far less tendency to burn the edge of the tool. The base of the AW200WSG features a pull-out drawer you can use as a water trough. The grinder is equipped with a work light on a flexible stem to illuminate the working area. The eye shield on the right features a magnifying lens. Adjustable tool rests and spark guards are all included.
Note: When a grinder is new or when changing stones it is important to dress the stones to ensure the front face runs true. The grinder is supplied with a diamond dresser to ensure you get the most out of your grinder.
