Compact yet stable
The AW216BTS Table Saw is compact, making it ideal for cutting smaller pieces of timber with precision. Constructed from powder-coated steel, the sturdy leg design improves stability and provides a comfortable working height for greater control and ease of use.
Saw design
The motor and saw arbor assembly is mounted on trunnions bolted onto the chassis, a feature which is reserved for much larger saws. This improves adjustability and allows for a much smoother blade rise and tilt function.
Quiet induction motor
Powered by a quiet 1.1 kW induction motor, this saw is ideal for use in residential areas where noise is a concern.
Cutting capacity
It offers impressive cutting capacities, with a 60 mm depth at 90° and 40 mm at 45°, plus a maximum rip width of 345 mm. The 790 x 925 mm precision ground cast iron table includes left, right and rear extensions, while the full-length rip fence features a sliding high/low sub-fence for added versatility. The saw is supplied with an Axcaliber Premium TCT Saw Blade 216 x 2.2 x 30mm 48T.
Safety features
An NVR switch is included, with a separate lockable emergency stop function. This helps to protect users and the equipment from harm, providing quick shutdown when needed.
Dust extraction
Keep the saw line clear with combined above-blade and below-table dust extraction, both feeding into a single outlet for easy connection to an extractor.
