The AW2305B is a medium size bandsaw giving you capacities and features normally found on larger, more expensive machines. More depth for your dosh, you could say.
A welded steel frame with extra bracing gives it great strength. A quiet, reliable and powerful induction motor drives the bandsaw via a multi V-belt. There are two blade speeds.
The generously sized, cast iron table has a standard 19mm mitre fence slot. Underneath, widely spaced mounting trunnions give solid support and ensure table tilt is smooth. The rip fence locks solidly and is adjustable to the blade for accuracy. Twin scales allow the fence to be quickly positioned.
Side and thrust bearing guides give great blade support. Once set, they stay set unless you change the width of the blade. A rack and pinion system adjusts the upper blade guide height.
Dust control is very efficient, two extraction two points are linked by an interconnecting hose to a single 100mm connection port.
Supplied with a steel leg stand with rubber feet and a quality general purpose blade.
