Large capacity
An impressive maximum turning diameter of 370mm over the bed, and 1,100mm between centres; this is an excellent entry level floor standing lathe that offers large capacity with great value.
Wide speed range
The speed range is between 500 rpm and 2000 rpm, giving the user a range of speed options suitable for both delicate work, large diameters and out of balance workpieces.

All cast iron construction gives the user high stability and vibration free running.
Swivel headstock
The headstock swivels to a preset 45 and 90 degrees angles and can be rotated, giving you better access when turning bowls and hollow forms. It also slides along the length of the bed, giving you the ability to set the headstock in the most convenient position.

The lathe is supplied with floorstand, faceplate, tool rest and high quality stainless steel Four Prong Drive and Revolving Tailstock Centres; both designed and manufactured in Axminster, UK.

The AW370WL is a powerful cast iron woodturning lathe with plenty of capacity and a powerful motor to match the larger capabilities. This floor standing woodturning lathe has several major features that set it apart for lathes within a similar range.
The centre height is a full 185mm giving it a massive 370mm maximum diameter for turning a bowl over the bed.
The distance between centres is a very useful 1,100mm for turning longer spindles and similar items. The headstock swivels and can slide along the length of the bed, giving the facility to set the headstock in the most convenient position to suit the work. The speed change system has ten steps which gives a wide range of speed options. With a simple twist of a lever you can switch between the following speeds;
Step 1 - 500 rpm
Step 2 - 620 rpm
Step 3 - 760 rpm
Step 4 - 900 rpm
Step 5 - 1050 rpm
Step 6 - 1210 rpm
Step 7 - 1400 rpm
Step 8 - 1590 rpm
Step 9 - 1790 rpm
Step 10 - 2000 rpm
Supplied with 4-prong Axminster drive centre, Axminster revolving tailstock centre, 150mm faceplate, outboard tool rest extension, 300mm tool rest and floor stand.
