A water based alternative to cellulose or shellac. Use to seal open pores of timber prior to application of lacquers, waxes or polishes. The end result is much the same to cellulose or shellac, but of course being water based is low odour and obviously carries no fire risk. It can be applied by brush, cloth, spray gun or a foam brush works especially well for this. Once dry lightly sand for a smooth surface.
