These Axminster Abrasive Wraps are precision cut (79 × 3,590mm) for the Axminster Professional AP640DS Drum Sander, delivering efficient stock removal, consistent performance, and long service life. Made from aluminium oxide with a heat-resistant bond to reduce clogging, they feature a heavy-duty cloth backing for strength and durability, ensuring easy installation and a clean, even finish with minimal scratch pattern.
Suitable for softwoods, hardwoods, veneers, and panels, they are ideal for thickness sanding, panel and board flattening, surface preparation, and graduated sanding through multiple grit stages. Available in 80, 100, 120, 180 and 240 grit, they support everything from aggressive material removal (80g) to general sanding (100 and 120g) and fine finishing (180 and 240g). When used on the AP640DS Drum Sander, two wraps can be loaded simultaneously, coarse on the front drum and fine on the rear, saving time while achieving a smooth, uniform finish in a single pass.
