The Axminster Professional AP127CE Cyclone Extractor is a single-stage cyclone system designed for demanding workshop environments. Before the airflow passes through the extractor's fan, the cyclone separates the larger waste particles from the finer dust, meaning the fan operates more efficiently compared to other types of extractor. Only a small amount of fine dust will reach the cartridge filter, therefore less mess is created, so less cleaning is required.
Power comes from a 1.5kW induction motor, delivering strong suction and reliable performance. Its lightweight impeller minimises rotational mass, while maintaining sufficient airflow and static pressure. By reducing the mechanical and electrical load, the motor operates at lower temperatures, therefore improved efficiency, resulting in up to 33% lower amperage draw and reduced operating costs. Additionally, the reduced impeller mass decreases bearing and motor stress for an extended service life.
The 5 micron, pleated canister filter offers a large surface area for capturing fine dust, while the manual cleaning system ensures consistent efficiency - a double paddle internal cleaning mechanism allows fast filter maintenance without disrupting the workflow. Fine dust is collected separately in a bag beneath the filter cartridge, which requires emptying only occasionally. For versatility, the unit offers a choice of either two 100mm outlets or a single 150mm outlet.
The 120 litre steel collection drum is mounted on heavy duty casters for easy removal and mobility around the workshop. It features quick release clamps and integrated viewing windows to enable controlled waste disposal and easy monitoring.
The cyclone extractor is supplied with a bluetooth remote control so you can switch on or off from anywhere in the workshop, even through walls.
Airflow: 1,275 m³/hr @ 150mm.
Please note: the hose size should not be reduced to less than 75mm, otherwise a marked drop in performance will occur.
