These are professional grade bypass shears, hand forged and tempered, with beautifully ground and polished blades and a razor-sharp edge. They feature a return spring firmly attached between the handles (a spare is provided but we aren't sure what you are going to do with it). A clunky catch at the bottom has a positive action keeping the shears closed when not in use. The shears are simple, sharp and strong with well-shaped, smooth handles, very comfortable to hold and the action is smooth and positive, resulting in a clean and efficient cut. If you're looking for a quality garden tool, you need look no further than this one. This may be the only pruning shear you'll ever need.
