The latest version of the UJK Pocket Hole Jig now features redesigned drill bushes, making it fully compatible with the superior UJK Pocket Hole Drill Complete Package with interchangeable pilot tips. The upgraded bushes are manufactured from Aluminium Bronze Alloy, an exceptionally strong and highly resistant to wear and corrosion, offering durability comparable to medium carbon steel.
Pocket Hole Joinery suitable for many applications when needing very strong frames and carcases. A strong, hidden joint is produced using a jig and drilling a hole at an angle into one workpiece, then joining it to a second workpiece with a self-tapping screw. Using a self-tapping screws means there is no need to pre-drill the second workpiece. This makes the process much faster and avoids any alignment issues often encountered with traditional methods such as dowels, biscuits or mortice and tenon joints. They also act as a strong, internal clamp eliminating clamping the joint as the glue dries. Saving time and the frustration of clamping, as well as the problems associated with pulling the assembly out of square with clamping pressure.
The Pocket Hole Jig Mk II is constructed entirely from metal components to ensure enhanced durability, and can be conveniently mounted on a workbench. Use for a wide range of material / timber thickness 13 - 36mm, clear metric scales allow for ease of use.
The innovative UJK Pocket Hole Drill Complete package comes with the jig and three interchangeable pilot tips in 12mm, 22mm, and 30mm. These allow for quick size changes, and if a drill tip ever snaps, you can simply replace it without needing to buy a new drill. Its advanced design ensures smoother cutting, improved chip clearance and cleaner holes, offering better performance and longer service life.
