The UJK Spiral Cutter (1/2) is British made from solid tungsten carbide, delivering fast, controlled routing with a consistently clean, precise finish. Engineered for performance, the upcut spiral flute geometry creates a shearing cutting action that produces smoother results than standard straight cutters, while efficiently drawing chips and dust away from the cut. This improves cooling, reduces heat build-up and helps maintain cutter sharpness, particularly during demanding applications such as deep cutting, mortising and rapid material removal.
The upward cutting action pulls the router down towards the workpiece, providing improved control and stability, making these cutters especially effective for guided routing and template work.
