Crown Mini Carbide Pro Roughing Tip Turning Tool - Unhandled

This unhandled Miniature Carbide Pro Roughing Tip Turning Tool is designed to fit the Axminster Woodturning Micro Handle and is made in the UK. It has a 40mm long round section to fit into the handle. At the business end is a 10mm square solid tungsten carbide diamond shaped cutting tip made from the finest nano-particle carbide that is hardened to an unbelievable HRC93. Being so hard it is incredibly long lasting, when the edge does eventually dull you simply loosen the fixing screw, turn the cutter 90 to a fresh sharp edge and carry on turning. The shaft of the tool is square in cross section to make better contact with the lathe’s tool rest. The tool works best when flat and level, cutting at centre height or, with the handle slightly raised, cutting just below centre.

Each tool comes with a 2.5mm hex key.
