The DeWALT brushless motor delivers consistent performance in demanding applications, supported by constant speed control to maintain cutter speed for a flawless surface finish. With a 70mm plunge depth, this router excels in deep plunge applications, making it a versatile tool for professionals.
DeWALT Powerstack batteries have been developed using phone cell technology. While traditional batteries use cylindrical cells, the flat design of pouch cells results in less heat build-up and internal electrical resistance. This means DeWALT Powerstack batteries deliver more power for longer, maintaining a higher voltage without overheating during demanding applications. Reduced capacity loss in each charging cycle results in a longer total lifespan.
The integrated dust extraction system keeps the workspace clear without compromising visibility, ensuring a clean and efficient working environment. The one-touch plunge lock allows for quick depth adjustments without losing position, while the guide bush centring ensures precision in template work.
Dual LEDs enhance visibility around the router bit, increasing accuracy, and the over-moulded rubber handles provide a comfortable and secure grip. The three-position adjustable turret allows for versatile plunge cuts, and being part of the cordless 18V XR system ensures compatibility with over 250 solutions.
Supplied with 2 x 5.0Ah Powerstack batteries (DCBP518), charger (DCB1104) 1/2" and 1/4" collets, 30mm guide bush, side fence, centring cone, 2 sub bases (guide bush and larger aperture) under base dust chute in a deep TSTAK case.
