Axminster Tools were the proud winners of Team of the Year at the recent DIY Week Awards 2024. The prestigious event, which took place at The Grand Connaught Rooms in London on 17th May, brought together professionals from DIY and home improvement markets to celebrate excellence in the industry. Established in 2011, the DIY Week Awards has become a hallmark for honouring forward-thinking companies, innovative products and inspirational people, with the award ceremony being a highlight for industry professionals.

The Axminster Tools Cardiff store team celebrated their achievement as they were named Team of the Year for the second time, having won previously in 2018. Daniel Everett, Store Manager at Axminster Tools Cardiff, expressed his pride in the team's accomplishment.

Cardiff's entry highlighted various initiatives implemented by the store. These include collaborations with local groups like Able and One Community Ely CIC. The store also partners with Crow Valley Woodturners, Men’s Sheds and Woodfella’s Workshop. Likewise, the local Carver's Club hold regular events in store which have proved popular with the local community.
