First Time At The Southern Manufacturing & Electronics Exhibition
Axminster Tools & Machinery is all geared up to attend the Southern Manufacturing & Electronics Exhibition at Farnborough next week.
The Southern Manufacturing & Electronics Exhibition describes itself as "The UK’s biggest and most comprehensive industrial technology show, bringing together an unrivalled selection of top-name companies from the UK, Europe and beyond".
According to the organisers, the show is a must-attend event for every industrial engineering and manufacturing professional. Many leading industry suppliers will be exhibiting, plus free seminars, new product launches and live demonstrations will be on offer.
Although Axminster’s product development team have visited the show in the past, this will be the first time the company has a stand. "We will be displaying some exciting and innovative products" said account manager Antony Jempson.
Axminster will be showcasing its own brands of machinery. This will include the Axminster CNC Technology Series iKX3 mill and iKC6 lathe. Also, pillar drills from the Axminster Engineer Series will be on display. These machines are perfect for prototype engineering, small component makers, research & development and the education sector, including University Technical Colleges.
The team will demonstrate the two CNC machines, milling an aluminium component and turning a brass component on the lathe.
