The Festool ETSC 2 cordless eccentric sander is the first battery-powered, (battery not included) one-handed eccentric sander with an integrated light ring, illuminating your work area and making it easier to see any unevenness. The LED light ring is directly integrated into the base and provides shadow-free lighting directly on the workpiece all the way around.

Thanks to its optimised ergonomics and low height, you can work with your hand directly at the surface for optimal control even in narrow areas. The 18V power in the Festool system enables you to seamlessly switch between batteries and machines. There are two light modes that can be set on the machine – full lighting or dimmed light. Additionally, you can use your smartphone to dim the light in a customized and infinitely adjustable manner, enabling you to check the surface again after finishing sanding.

The ETSC 2 features innovative motor technology with a brushless EC-TEC motor that is robust and powerful, yet also particularly quiet and low-maintenance. The carbide-tipped sanding pad brake prevents the sanding pad from revolving too quickly when idling, which enables the tool to be applied to a surface without producing scratches and saves you the need for costly rework. The vibration protection guarantees comfortable work without your hands getting tired too soon. The integrated antistatic function prevents static charge from accumulating when working, and the turbo dust extraction ensures clean, dust-free air and a clear view of the workpiece.

Moreover, the ETSC 2 includes the StickFix STF system, which offers a quick and economical fastening system for abrasives – no adhesives, no clamping. The patented MULTI-JETSTREAM 2 principle integrates a dust conveying system for efficient sanding. The protector feature safeguards the sanding pad and material when working close to edges, and the high balancing quality ensures optimum smooth running when sanding, with additional speed reduction in the event of high vibrations for working in a way that protects your health.
