Zinc Coating Benefits

The zinc coating serves as a protective barrier, preventing oxidation and prolonging the lifespan of the metal. If the barrier is compromised, zinc acts as a sacrificial anode to inhibit corrosion. Unlike iron oxide, zinc oxide forms a fine white dust that does not degrade the substrate’s surface integrity. This protective layer functions similarly to the oxide coatings found on aluminum and stainless steel, maintaining durability over time.
