This freud thin kerf blade has been designed to provide optimal performance in a cordless circular saw. In particular when cutting melamine coated board, MDF and laminate.
It is the extra thin kerf that provides both a high quality cut and enables maximum battery runtime in a cordless saw. The blade's extra thin kerf reduces the amount of material removed, so requires less power for a given length of cut.
The blade features Perma-shield non-stick coating. This reduces friction, protects against corrosion and prevents resin from sticking to the teeth.
The teeth are TiCo (titanium cobalt carbide), they stay sharper for longer and extend blade life however tough the application.
