Safety Features

To safeguard your health there’s a belt cover safety switch, plus a separate emergency stop switch for complete peace of mind. Furthermore, an electronically interlocked chuck guard and LED work lamp ensure safe working at all times.

Ergonomic Design

The machine is fitted with a cast iron feed handle featuring soft rubber grips for ease of use. While the quality 1-16mm keyless chuck allows you to quickly loosen and tighten tools on the chuck collar of the drill.

High Quality Construction

Quill assembly is a good fit into the headstock, while the spindle runs on genuine NSK ball bearings. With over 100 years of history in the industry, NSK bearings offer the highest levels of safety and quality.

Smooth Running

Thanks to the 650W induction motor, the machine runs like a dream. Plus, the pulleys offer 12 belt speeds to choose from, ranging from 120-2,580rpm.

This robust pillar drill is made from cast iron and machined steel giving it strength, accuracy and stability. It has a precision spindle assembly, running in NSK ball race bearings. It features a multi-vee belt transmission from the 650W motor to the spindle and quill. The quill is MT2 and fitted with a 1-16mm capacity keyless chuck. There is a choice of twelve belt speeds from 120 to 2,580rpm. The belt cover has a safety interlock switch to prevent the drill being run with the cover open. The down feed is via a one-piece cast iron handle with soft rubber grips, there is an accurate drilling depth control. A quality 1mm to 16mm keyless chuck is fitted. The chuck guard is electrically interlocked for safety and is easily adjustable for height. There is a separate locking emergency stop switch, plus a switch for the integrated LED work light. Table height is controlled via a rack and pinion; the whole table assembly can be swivelled away to allow the base to be used as a work support.
