Features a deep ‘U’ shaped flute for both shaping the outside and inside of bowls or goblets. Made in Sheffield, in the UK, the 1/4" (6.3mm) Bowl Gouge features a hardened M2 HSS steel blade, which maintains a sharp edge far longer than cheaper carbon steel. Comes correctly ground and ready sharpened. The blade is fitted to a smooth, well-shaped beechwood handle for comfort. Suitable for the amateur or beginner woodturner.
This Bowl Gouge has a 12" handle. The length of the steel is 6 1/2" and thickness is 9.5mm.
