Perfect for a busy home workshop or even a small trade workshop

The AW118CE is a very efficient cyclone extractor. Also referred to as a two stage extractor, the finer dust and larger debris are separated for exceptionally effective extraction.

Protect yourself

Efficiently removing dust at source is the best way to keep your workshop and lungs in tip top condition.

From dust to chips

The AW118CE is suitable for extracting all types of wood waste, from fine dust to larger chips, thanks to the ingenious cyclone design.

Low maintenance

The majority of waste is removed before getting to the filter, requiring less cleaning and infrequent replacement. The filter also has a handy cleaning paddle to remove excess fine dust.

Sturdy yet compact

The AW118CE design is compact yet strong, thanks to its tubular steel frame construction.

Choice of ports

Fitted with twin dust ports, you’re free to choose between twin 100mm inlets or a single 125mm inlet for ultimate flexibility.

Performance

The 1.5kw motor provides plenty of power, whilst running happily on a 13amp plug.

3 Year Guarantee

For complete peace of mind, we cover all parts and labour free of charge for three years.

The Axminster AW118E cyclone extractor is designed for the enthusiastic home woodworker with features in common with professional models. Compared to other forms of extractors, a cyclone provides a much more efficient performance. The cyclone separates the larger waste particles from the finer dust, before the airflow passes through the extractor’s fan. As a consequence, the fan operates more efficiently maintaining a consistent speed. The heavier waste falls into one bag or container whilst the very fine particles collect in separate receptacle. The cyclone removes the bulk of the waste before it reaches the extractor’s filter. The filter requires cleaning less frequently with far less mess involved.

The AW118E is quite compact, a tubular steel frame supports the cyclone, body, filter and collection bag. The cartridge filter has a manual filter cleaning system. Castors ensure mobility around the workshop. There is a choice of either twin 100mm or a single 125mm inlet. The collection bag is a generous 118-litre and held by a quick release clip. There is a separate collection bag under the filter for fine dust, which in practice, will rarely need emptying. The 1.5kW induction motor provides plenty of performance and runs happily on a domestic 13A supply.

This extractor is efficient, reasonably quiet and very capable. For most home workshops it will be all that you will need.

Airflow: as measured in the Axminster workshop 990m³/hr @100mm and 1,095m³/hr @125mm.

The hose size should not be reduced to less than 75mm, otherwise a marked drop in performance will occur.
