A multi-purpose device for dividing a line into equal divisions for such jobs as positioning dowels, biscuits, screws and pins across the width of a board. Can also be used for determining the maximum number of strips that can be cut from a board. Not recommended for very precise marking out as required for dovetail or comb joints. Width range is from 75mm to 600mm.
