The i2R Auto Tool Touch-Off Plate makes zeroing your Z-axis as easy as pressing a button. When setting up your CNC router, position the touch-off plate beneath the cutting tool. The machine’s software then lowers the tool until it contacts the plate, establishing the reference point for the Z-axis height above the workpiece surface. This “touch-off” process sets the correct Z-axis offset, ensuring precise tool positioning during cutting operations.
