A box joint, as the names suggests, is often the go to choice of joint for woodworkers making boxes, cabinets or drawers.

The joint is made by creating interlocking pins or 'fingers' that slot together to create a strong and durable connection and is often easier to make than a dovetail and forms a solid bond once glued.

It is a versatile joint and a great choice of joint for making any box, from a small jewellery box to a large chest.
