Equipped with a 5/16"(8mm) diameter locating pin, this drive centre is used for accurately locating and driving items such as lamp columns which have already been partly bored through from one end. Where this kit differs from other such centres is that an additional boring head is also supplied which allows accurate efficient boring operations to be carried out at the tailstock end of the lathe. This can prove very useful when turning longer items that need to be made in more that one piece such as standard lamps or curtain poles etc.
