Spiral style cutter block
The spiral style cutter block, with 26 double edged HSS spur cutters, produces an ultra-clean finish and reduces noise in use. Capable of handling difficult timbers and removing up to 3.2mm in one pass, the cutters also have a secondary bevel which prolongs their life.
8 pre-set depth stops
Save time on setup with 8 pre-set depth stops at the following common timber thicknesses: 3.2mm, 6.35mm, 12.7mm, 19mm, 25.4mm, 31.75mm, 38mm and 44.5mm.
Large extension tables
The AP330ST’s large foldable extension tables are easy to adjust for initial set up. The generous tables adequately support the workpiece, helping to reduce snipe. Snipe lock further reduces snipe by locking the cutterhead.
Efficient waste clearance
With two extraction outlets in 63mm and 100mm, the AP330ST is proven to have very effective extraction. Save time on clear up and reduce time spent on maintenance.

The Axminster Professional AP330ST thicknesser has a lot going for it. It’s a well constructed and thoughtfully designed machine with a solid feel about it.
Capacities are excellent, with a maximum width of up to 330mm by 152mm deep. It is capable of removing up to 3.2mm in one pass (we would recommend taking off less if running at full width). The folding extension tables are easy to adjust for initial set-up.
The AP330ST comes with a spiral cutter block fitted with 26 double edged HSS spur cutters. Extensive testing in our workshop proved these can easily cope with most timbers. The cutters are very sharp, a secondary bevel prolongs their life.
The finish is super smooth, with almost no requirement for sanding. This type of block is noticeably quieter and puts less load on the motor. The waste chips are small, so they won’t clog your extractor hose even if using a vacuum type. Extraction has two outlet options either 100mm or 63mm (a blanking plug is supplied for the unused outlet). We found extraction to be very effective, with only a few stray chips escaping.
Rise and fall is super smooth, via a handwheel on the right hand side. A depth gauge is provided on the front. Additionally, the AP330ST has eight pre-set depth stops: 3.2mm, 6.35mm, 12.7mm, 19mm, 25.4mm, 31.75mm, 38mm and 44.5mm. Engaging the Snipe Lock helps reduce snipe by locking the cutterhead into position.
The front of the machine features a depth of cut gauge, which allows you to determine and set the exact amount you wish to take off. The left hand side features a handy tool storage compartment and a neat cable tidy.
The AP330ST is an excellent addition to any workshop or job site.
