These Axminster Woodturning bowl gouges feature spectacular Ripple Ash handles. The beautiful figuring of the timber is enhanced with a clear lacquer for protection.
The blades are M2 high speed steel known to hold its edge and retain its hardness at high temperatures and will give a clean smooth finish. M2 HSS means less time sharpening and more time turning. The deep flute of these gouges can be ground to an angle to suit a large variety of bowl forms.
