The ROJEK MSP 315 is an industrial planer thicknesser with single lift cast iron tables. Large hinges with torsion springs make it easy to handle the cast iron tables when changing from one function to the other. It has a generous 310mm planing width and a 300 x 230mm thicknessing capacity.
The MSP 315 is built around solid, precision ground cast iron tables. This machine is ideal for a modern and busy professional workshop and will give years of service.
This ready to buy package includes a spiral cutter block, which offers numerous advantages; notably quieter in use, the sheer cutting action of the spiral block also produces a super smooth finish with no visible lines across the board. Fitted with 3 spirals and 51 knives, the spiral block features 56 15mm solid tungsten cutters in a helical pattern. Lasting ten times longer than HSS, when the edge of the square tungsten cutter dulls, it can be rotated to a fresh and sharp edge, removing the need for complicated knife changes. By producing smaller chips, strain on the machine is reduced and extraction is more efficient.
