The Sedgwick TE 350 3-head tenoner features horizontally mounted cutting blocks, top and bottom. It has the capability of cutting tenons up to 150mm long.
Sedgwick have designed and built this machine with the same no nonsense, rugged, heavy duty approach for which they are renowned. The machine is quick and simple to set up and operate. The work is carried on a sliding table, secured by a cam action clamp. The table features a fence with angle adjustment plus or minus zero to 60°. The TE 350 fully complies with modern health and safety regulations, most noticeable in the way the guarding moves with the work. The versatility of the TE 350 allows you to produce stepped tenons, splayed tenons, scribed tenons, double tenons and multiple bridles with ease. Tenon width is set by raising or lowering the top motor and the tenon position on the timber by moving both heads up or down. Each head has its own independent motor. A vertical spindle carries the scribing head, again with a dedicated motor.
Maximum timber capacity 150mm thick x 300mm wide. The sliding table is 765mm x 340mm with a working height of 890mm. When sighting the machine allow space on either side for the movement of the sliding table and guarding.
Very much a machine for a professional busy workshop the TE 350 is built to run all day, everyday with the reliability and longevity we all expect from M.Sedgwick & Co.
