The perfect partner for the Flexi hollower, this 405mm long handle is supplied with both 10 and 13mm collets. The collet not being used is simply stored conveniently in the opposite end of the handle. The beautifully engineered collet chuck ejects the collet for quickly removing or adjusting the tool shaft. Standard ER engineering collets are employed so other sizes could be added as required. The 10mm collet closes on shafts between 9mm and 10mm making it suitable for 3/8" shafts. The 13mm collet closes on shanks from 12mm to 13mm making it suitable for 1/2" shanks. This system would be great for the travelling turner doing demonstrations, using this handle and a range of unhandled gouges all neatly contained in a tool roll.
