Just what I needed !I feel much safer with this switch on my wood lathe which previously had a simple on/off switch. Easy to fit, I like the large easy to reach 'off' stop button cover, and the NVR.

Perfect solution to working from home!As an NHS Medical Engineer I had to revert to working from home in my own workshop.
My employer, required a safety inspection of my premises and my ancient pillar drill lacked suitable NVR and Emergency stop. This switch became a foot switch and was linked up with an Axminster Start/Stop purchased at the same time. Great products - both of them.

Not a straight swopFirstly I’m really pleased with this, I’ve had an Axminster 10 inch table saw for a few years now but found I was fumbling to find the off switch and wanted something I could hit with my knee. I was surprised that when I removed the old switch that this new one did not line up with the two screw holes in the saw and I had to re-drill and tap them and also this has 4 connections where the saw has 5?, I connected the 4 main ones and left the small black one and it surprisingly worked!, a plus side is this switch works better than the original as I don’t have keep the switch depressed while the saw runs up, someone will say this is because I’ve left the 5th wire off?, over all great new switch.

Hi ..is this suitable for a 2000w router. I have my dewalt 625 (not sure of the hp) mounted in my router table. I Have currently been using the Axminster NVR SWITCH C/W BOX. Which has decided to cease working.
Thank you
Asked by: Dougster
Yes it is.
I use mine for a 2400w router.
As it’s rated for 16A it is suitable up to ~3500W.

Has anyone found a back box that fits this switch? Thanks
Asked by: Nikkormike
Yes. The switch fits a USA standard size backing box. Not very convenient for UK but I got a US based friend to bring one across with me when they came over.

Sorry for the vauge question, but would anyone know if this would fit/replace the switch on a Laguna Fusion 3 table saw (2020 model)?
Asked by: Green Shamrock
Axminster invited me to answer this question, but I am not familiar with the Laguna Fusion 3 table saw or its motor wiring. Also, I am not a qualified electrician so I cannot give you a definite answer.

Does this unit have an earth connection
Asked by: Mark@stickcraft
No it doesn't. Presumably the connected machine has to be double insulated.
