The KNIPEX 78 61 Series Electronic Super Knips® is designed for ultra-fine cutting work, making it ideal for use in electronics and fine mechanics. It is also suitable for cutting fibre optic cables. The tool features ground, very sharp cutting edges without bevel, which have been additionally induction-hardened to a cutting edge hardness of approximately 62 HRC. The precisely shaped tips allow for cutting wires close to a surface from a diameter of 0.2mm.
Made from special tool steel, the Super Knips® is oil-hardened in multiple stages and features a stainless steel rivet joint for extremely smooth movement, minimising operator fatigue. The controlled micro cutting edge misalignment ensures precise cutting of even the thinnest wires and provides a long service life. The tool is fitted with ergonomic multi-component grips for added comfort and grip.
