The KNIPEX ErgoStrip® Universal Stripping Tool is designed for fast and precise dismantling and stripping of all common round and damp-proof installation cables, such as NYM cables (3 x 1.5mm² up to 5 x 2.5mm²), data cables (e.g., twisted pair), and coax cables. The innovative ergonomic pistol grip is crafted for easy cutting, stripping, and longitudinal cutting of the sheath, ensuring efficiency and comfort.
The conical slimmed-down tool ends provide better access in confined areas, and the stripping device accommodates cross-sections of 0.2, 0.3, 0.8, 1.5, 2.5, and 4mm². The tool offers simplified insertion of single wires for stripping using location ridges and easy insertion of coax and data cables thanks to the spring opening aid. Its multi-component design with a soft plastic zone ensures comfortable use and a secure grip. The housing is made from stable glass fibre reinforced plastic, enhancing durability.
