The KNIPEX 95 Series Cable Shears are designed for precision and safety, making them an essential tool for cutting copper and aluminium cables without crushing or deforming them. These shears are VDE tested up to 10,000V and safe for work up to 1,000V, conforming to DIN EN / IEC 60900 standards. They are not suitable for steel wire and hard drawn copper conductors.
Made from high-grade special tool steel, these shears are forged and oil-hardened for durability. They feature a chrome-plated finish and precision ground, hardened blades for easy cutting with one-hand operation. The handles are fitted with multi-component grips and guards to prevent the operator's fingers from being pinched. Additionally, the shears include an adjustable bolted joint and a self-retaining screw for added convenience.
