Conforming to DIN EN / IEC 60900 standards, they are made from vanadium electric steel, forged, and multi-stage oil-hardened for maximum strength.
The chrome-plated finish adds to their durability. The long half-round jaws are distortion-tolerant and feature elastic precision tips and knurled gripping surfaces. The cutting edges are designed for medium hard and hard wire, and are additionally induction-hardened to approximately 61 HRC, making them ideal for all electrical installation applications.
