Over sixty years ago Lamello invented and produced the original biscuit jointer. Six decades later we can offer a cordless version. In line with their reputation for quality, the cordless Classic X is thoughtfully designed and precision made. This Swiss made cordless Classic X has all the features of its mains powered cousins with the added freedom and convenience that battery tools provide.
The proven Classic X design cuts a 4mm groove into which fit a wide range of connectors; wooden glued, self-clamping or knock-down. The Classic X allows you to make a variety of strong joints; edge to edge, butt and mitre. The fences are all precision machined to ensure accurate alignment and ease of setting for height, depth and angle. The machine comes with a multifunctional stop square, which when fitted to the fence gives greater stability when working vertically, allows variable height positioning and instantly aligns 22.5° and 45° angles.
The swivelling fence can be set at any point between 0 - 90° and used with or without the stop square for angle locations.
Scales on both the angle and height adjustment are provided. A very clear central marker is embossed into the baseplate for ease of spot-on positioning. A depth stop with presets for the common biscuit/connector sizes makes setting simple. The machine has a slim body and is provided with a ‘D’ handle.
An added bonus comes in the form of the Lamello batteries. These are LIHD and have the common CAS (Cordless Alliance System) fitting. The CAS fitting is now the standard for over 30 European manufacturers (and growing). CAS already includes Mafell and Metabo.
