Spirit Wood Dye is ideal for use on dense hardwoods such as mahogany and oak and for colouring previously finished woods i.e. antique restoration. The traditional dye is quick to dry and penetrates deep into the wood making it effective on hardwoods and also stripped woods.
Easy to apply and with a new ethanol based formula, it comes in a range of colours. All the colours can be mixed to give intermediate shades. This is especially useful if a new piece of timber has to be coloured to match a repair or blend with an existing workpiece. (Approximate coverage 1 litre = 10 -14m². Minimum drying time 6 hours.).
