Mafell NFU 50 Groove-Cutting Machine - 230V

The Mafell NFU 50 Groove cutting machine offers great benefits and opens up numerous possibilities. Designed with rugged, high-quality and precision-made parts, it is entirely suited to the rigours of an enormous range of timber construction tasks. It has a lightweight magnesium die-cast housing and impact-resistant, fiberglass-reinforced components.
A highly efficient 2,300 CUprex motor drives the 163mm diameter, 60mm wide cutter head. Twelve 14mm square, solid carbide, indexable cutters produce accurate clean cuts in solid timber and board materials. The NFU 50 offers a massive 50mm depth of cut (44mm when using the cross cut track). It is supplied with the cross cut track which ensures exact 90° or angled cross cuts up to 45° up to 370mm long. The NFU 50 can be removed from the cross cut track at the single press of a button, allowing its use either freehand or on a guide rail.
A parallel fence guides longitudinal rebates. The cutter head can be angled up to 45 for cutting birdsmouth joints.
The large cutting capacity produces large volumes of debris, the 58mm hose connector rotates for the most convenient position. A brake stops the tool within 3 seconds, an LED lamp flashes indicating when the cutter is still turning.
