The Makita DC18RD (14.4V-18V) charger can charge two Makita batteries simultaneously. Its advanced technology queries each battery and then selects the voltage and current necessary to achieve optimum rapid charging. A fan forces cool air around the battery preventing overheating and minimising charge time. Once your battery or batteries come to full charge, the unit emits an audible beep to let you know they are good to go. An LED display shows you the state of play at any time during the charging process. If your mobile phone, iPod, iPad or tablet needs charging, the DC18RD has a convenient USB port at the front.
