Model DMR109 is a Job site radio that is able to receive Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB/ DAB), band III 5A – 13F and FM: 87.5 - 108MHz. Power comes from either a Makita LXT 14.4V or 18V Li-ion slide-on battery or a CXT 10.8V Li-ion battery. A mains adaptor allows you to plug into a 230V AC socket. (The DMR109 is not compatible with G-series Li-ion batteries or NI-Cad and NiMh batteries).

The DMR109 is robust and designed to cope with the rigours of use on site. It features elastomer bumpers and an anti-shock loudspeaker system. There is an auxiliary input for an iPod, MP3 etc. The Makita DMR109 has a retractable handle grip for ease of carrying and a flexible antenna. The digital push button channel selection system rapidly gets you to your chosen listening destination; a single rotating control adjusts sound volume.
