If you need quick and accurate compound mitres or are looking to break down panels for carpentry, the Makita SP6000J1 Plunge Saw is the perfect choice.
Complete a range of cuts
In addition to performing plunge cuts, lengthways and crossways straight cuts and mitre cuts with angles in wood can also be performed while in firm contact with the workpiece.
Constant speed control
Thanks to the electronic speed control you’ll enjoy constant speed. The rotating speed is kept constant even under load conditions meaning it’s possible to get a fine finish.
Simple to adjust the depth of cut
For cleaner, safer cuts, you must set the cut depth so that no more than one blade tooth projects below your workpiece. Using proper cut depth helps to reduce the potential for dangerous kickbacks which can cause personal injury.
Speed adjusting dial
The blade speed can be adjusted by turning the adjusting dial. This is important to ensure the manufacturer’s recommended running speed is met. In general, higher speeds will allow you to cut workpieces faster. NB: If run at higher speeds than recommended, this can result in a poorer cut and compromise safety.
