This flush mounted stop can be raised when needed up to 1/2" proud by means of a spring loaded wing bolt. The serrated jaw holds even thin stock firmly. Made from cast alloy it is non rusting and soft enough not to chip the plane iron should accidents occur. It is 1.1/2" wide and 2.1/2" long and can be mounted into any bench thicker than 7/8", and is secured by two screws hidden under the jaw. A most useful addition to any woodworker's bench.
