Osmo Door-Oil is ideal for finishing solid wood and most veneered wood interior doors (check with door manufacturer's recommendations). This oil and wax combination enhances the natural colour of the wood and leaves a micro porous satin finish.
The unique formulation penetrates the wood surface, and will not crack, peel, flake or blister. The oil will slightly darken the wood, this only further emphasises the wood's grain and natural characteristics, providing a warm and rich effect.

Simple to apply; first coat with lint free rag or brush (if you use a brush, wipe off any excess after a few minutes). Allow to dry, (8 to 10 hours or overnight) then rub down lightly (we recommend a fine abrasive pad). Apply a second coat with a lint free rag, rubbed in the direction of the grain. A little goes a long way. Osmo Door-Oil is stain-resistant, water-repellent and abrasion-resistant and results in a pleasantly tactile surface. The dry finish is safe for humans, animals and plants (suitable for children‘s toys EN 71.3).
