The DeWALT XR FLEXVOLT battery is the first ever convertible 18V/54V battery. This incredible new technology eliminates all previous restrictions and provides a cordless system that offers zero compromises. It opens the way to power a new generation of heavy-duty cordless construction power tools. It allows access to applications previously unavailable to cordless technology. The XR FLEXVOLT battery is completely compatible with all existing DeWALT XR 18V products (except DCR017 radio). It offers you an unprecedented 6.0Ah of power in any XR 18V cordless tool. The FLEXVOLT DCB546 is the same length and width as the 18V Li-ion batteries from the XR range. The extra power only adds a little height; you will hardly notice the physical difference. What will be soon apparent are the extended run times and significantly longer gaps between charges.
When plugged into an XR FLEXVOLT tool the DCB546 becomes a 54V heavy-duty power pack capable of running heavy-duty cordless construction tools. It delivers the power of corded with the freedom of cordless, and finally unlocks the full potential of cordless power tools.
You can use any DeWALT 18V XR charger to recharge the DCB546. Comes with a 1 Year Warranty.
