The Easy Wood Tools Mini Easy Detailer™ is a carbide woodturning tool designed for creating fine details, small coves, beads, and precise decorative features on small to medium projects, including bowls, spindles, and general craft work. As part of the Mini range, it provides the control needed for detailed work while offering more stability than Micro tools.
Fitted with a diamond‑shaped replaceable carbide cutter, the Mini Easy Detailer™ allows you to create crisp, defined details with minimal effort.
Its compact yet more substantial build improves control compared to Micro tools, while the flat‑profile bar sits securely on the tool rest, making it easy to use without needing to master complex tool angles or sharpening techniques.
The Mini Easy Detailer™ delivers clean, accurate detailing cuts, making it ideal for adding definition and decorative elements to your work. It excels at shaping beads, cutting coves, and refining intricate features on smaller or moderately sized pieces.
When used parallel to the floor at centre height, the tool remains stable on the rest, helping to reduce catches and allowing for smooth, controlled detailing as you refine your work to a finished result.
Easy Wood Tools’ long‑lasting carbide cutters hold an edge many times longer than HSS and are suitable for dry or green wood, as well as acrylics. With no sharpening needed, maintenance is simple — when the edge dulls, just loosen the fixing screw and rotate or replace the cutter.
The shaft is engraved with the corresponding carbide cutter reference number for easy identification.
All Easy Wood Tools are 100% made in the USA.
